A good roof is mostly the parts you never see: the membrane, the battens, the flashings and the fixings. That is where the time goes on every re-roof we do.
How a re-roof goes
- Scaffold up and the old covering stripped back to the rafters
- Rafters checked and any rotten timber replaced
- New breathable membrane and treated battens
- New tiles or slate, fixed to current standards
- New ridges, hips and verges, dry-fixed or bedded
- Lead and flashings renewed, site cleared, waste removed
We price the whole job in writing before anything starts, with the materials named, so you know exactly what you are paying for. No pressure, no 'today only' prices.
Every new roof comes with a 10-year guarantee in writing.
